Project 6 Pre-work


Wet plate collodion print: A collodion process is an early photograph process. A wet plate collodion plate process would the the intricate process of coating the photographic material, exposing, and developing in a dark room.

Cyanotype: Cyanotype is a printing process that involves producing a cyan blue print. When making by hand, it uses ammonium and iron citrate, and potassium ferricyanide.

Gum bichromate: A printing process that is based on the light sensitivity of "dichromates". It is multi-layered, and any color can be used for it.

Project 5

Project 5

Multiple Exposure. This had four layers. I disliked the middle one that is a very faded boat because it was somewhat out of place. I did not have a photo that could be directly in between the barge boat arriving and leaving.


I liked this version of it better. A very subtle difference.


Multiple Exposure. This is only two photos layers on each other. I disliked the third one on it. I liked this one a lot because of the total contrast in emotion in the face.

HDR. Not that strange, but the background looks like there's a nuclear explosion.

Panoramas are hard. You can still see the line where it is stitched together in Photoshop. This one is really short. Only had three or four photos.

Panorama. It isn't perfect, but I worked a long time on this trying to patch up some weird looking lines in the middle, and railing that was off...
